#443 11-06-72 Amend Tax LevyResolution No. 443 November 6, 1972
Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and MOVED ITS ADOPTION:
RESOLUTION AMENDING TAX LEVY
WHEREAS, The Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley did, by
its. Resolution No. 425, dated October 2, 1972, authorize and direct the
Hennepin County Auditor to raise the sum of $1,368,060 by ad, valorem tax on
property located in the Village of Golden Valley for general purposes, and
WHEREAS, Subsequently the Federal Government has passed legislation
providing revenue sharing with local governments, a portion of which will.be
received by the Village of Golden Valley for its fiscal year ending
December 31, 1973,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council of the Village
of Golden Valley directs that the County Auditor amend the amount to be
raised for general purposes from ad valorem property tax to the amount of
$1,311,060, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Council of the Village of
Golden Valley directs the Village Manager to make the necessary adjustments
to Budgeted Revenues as previously set.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Ulstad, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Hoover, Riggs, Stockman and Ulstad, and the following
voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the
Village Clerk.
