Member Ulstad introduced the following resolution and NOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING
ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
RSL -48
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398 Session Laws, of
Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposed to construct certain proposed public
improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in
Paragraph 4 hereof.
2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it
in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible and
that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some
other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as
follows:
$378.00
3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form
of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public
hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein.
4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks
in THE GOLDEN VALLEY SUN, the official newspaper of the Village, the first of
said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated
and the last of said publications to be in the issue dated
Such notice shall be substantially the same as in the following form:

PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
FOR RSL 48
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on December 4, 1972, at 7:30 P.M. in
the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road, in said
Village, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on proposed public
improvements.
The improvement is Residential Street Lighting; the total estimated cost is
$378.00, and the area where said improvement will serve is as follows:
RSL - 48 On Angelo Drive from Toledo Avenue to Thotland Road
On Thotland Road from Toledo Ave. to Angelo Drive
On Toledo Ave. from Angelo Drive to Thotland Road, Adeline Lane
In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the proposed
improvement, the Village Council proposes to proceed under the authority
granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Laws of 1969 as amended.

All property within the Village which is.benefited by the improvement is
proposed to be assessed for such improvement as set forth in the above des-
cription, including all property within the described area and/or abutting on
streets streets or lines described above and including all railroad property
and railroad rights-of-way and public property located in or abutting on the
above described streets, lines and areas.
All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets or
lines described above are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing
and to make known their objections to such proposed public improvements, if
any there be.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Stockman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Hoover, Riggs, Stockman, and Ulstad; and the following voted against
the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
