#459 11-20-72 Provide Hearing Improvement RSL-493i0 Resolution No. 459 November 20, 1972 Member Hoover introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption.: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS RSL -49 BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398 Session Laws of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposed to construct certain proposed public improvements within the Village as stated in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof. 2. The Engineer for the Village has reported to the Council advising it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as follows: $190.40 3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein. 4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in THE GOLDEN VALLEY SUN, publications to be in the issue of said paper dated and the last of said publications to be in the issue dated Such notice shall be substantially the same as in the following forma NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FOR RSL 49 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on December 18, 1972, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road, in said Village, for the purpose;of holding a public hearing on proposed public improvement. The improvement is Residential street lighting; the total estimated cost is $190.40, and the area where said improvement will serve is as follows: Residential Street Lighting 49: On Pennsylvania Avenue from Olympia Street to Duluth Street On Quebec Avenue from the South line of Lot 4, Block 2, Winnetka Heights Addition to the North line of Lot 4, Block 3, Val -Wood Addition. In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the proposed improvement, the Village Council proposes to proceed under the authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Laws of 1969 as amended. 1 1 1 371 Resolution No. 159 November 20, 1972 All property within the Village which is benefited by the improvement is pro- posed to be assessed for such improvement as set forth in the above description including all property within the described area and/or abutting on streets or lines described above and including all railroad rights-of-way and public property located in or abutting on the above described streets, lines and areas. All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the streets or lines described above are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to make known their objections to such proposed public improvements, if any there be.
