Member Hoover introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION RESCINDING PRIOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
RESOLUTION ORDERING OONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT,
APPROVING PLAN TO SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIAS.
(Proposed Grading & Graveling - 69 GG 3)
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has heretofore prepared plans and specifications
for the above proposed public improvement and a public hearing has heretofore been
held considering the advisability of constructing said improvement and ordering the
same done by contract by advertisement for bids; and
WHEREAS, it now appears more feasible to construct said project by day
labor as a portion of public improvement 73 SI 7;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of
Golden Valley as follows:
That a certain resolution heretofore passed by the Village Council
of the Village of Golden Valley on August 5, 1969 ordering the
construction of the aforesaid project heretofore designated as
69 GG 3, and a further resolution of the Village Council of this
Village enacted on the 5th day of August, 1969 and relating to
the approval of the plans and specifications and ordering of
advertisement for bids for said public improvement 69 GG 3, be
and they hereby are in all respects both rescinded so that each
of said resolutions shall be of no further force nor effect,
nothing having been done to the date hereof to effectuate said
resolutions by in any manner either constructing or contracting
for the construction of said public improvement 69 GG 3; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a certain project heretofore designated as
69 GG 3 shall now be accomplished as a part and parcel of that certain public
improvement, for which a hearing is also being called on the date hereof, to
be known as public improvement 73 SI 7.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Moberg, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted
in favor thereof: Bix, Hoover, Moberg, Riggs, and Ulstad; and the following
voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the
Village Clerk.
