Member Ulstad introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION
(Acceptance of Plat - Thomson's
Bassett's Creek Addition)
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, pursuant to
due notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to
be known as Thomson's Baosett's Creek Addition covering the following described
tract of land:
That part of the West 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 18, Township 29,
Range 24, described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the North-
east 1/4 of said Section 18; thence South along the West line of said Northeast
1/4, 504.45 feet; thence Easterly in a straight line to a point 769 feet East
of the West line and 490.05 feet South of the North line of the Northeast 1/4 of
said Section 18; thence South parallel with the West line of said Northeast 1/4,
772.82 feet; thence West parallel with the North line of said Northeast 1/4,
1.75 feet; thence South parallel with the west line of said Northeast 1/4 to the
South line of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 18, which
is the actual point of beginning of the tract of land to be described; thence
continuing along the last described line to the center line of Minneapolis &
Watertown Road (now known as Golden Valley Road); thence East along the center
line of said Road 24.5 feet; thence North parallel with the west line of said
Northeast 1/4 to the South line of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of
said Section 18; thence west along the South line of said Northwest 1/4 of the
Northeast 1/4 to the point of beginning.
That part of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 18, Township 29,
Range 24, described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the
Northeast 1/4 of said Section 18; thence South along the West line of said North-
east 1/4, 504.45 feet; thence Easterly in a straight line to a point 769 feet
of the West line and 490.05 feet South of the North line of the Northeast 1/4
of said Section 18; thence South parallel with the West line of said Northeast
1/4, 772.82 feet; thence West parallel with the North line of said Northeast
1/4, 1.75 feet; thence South parallel with the West line of said Northeast 1/4
to the center line of Minneapolis & Watertown Road (now known as Golden Valley
Road); thence East along the center line of said road 24.5 feet to the actual
point of beginning; thence North parallel with the West line of said Northeast
1/4 to the North line of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section
18; thence East along said North line to a point 505.5 feet West from the
Northeast corner of said Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4; thence South to the
center line of said road; thence Westerly along said center line to the actual
point of beginning.
That part of Section 18, Township 29, Range 24, described as follows: Beginning
at a point in the North line of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter
of said Section 252.75 feet West of the Northeast corner of the Southwest
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said section; thence West along said
North line 252.75 feet; thence South 878.51 feet to the center line of
Minneapolis & Watertown Road (now known as Golden Valley Road); thence Easterly
along the center line of said road to its intersection with a line drawn
parallel with the West line of said Northeast Quarter from the point of beginning;
thence North along said parallel line to the point of beginning.

The North 628.51 feet of that part of the following described tract which
lies West of the East 2.5834 acres of said tract: Beginning at the center of
the Northeast Quarter of Section 18, Township 29, Range 24; thence West along
the North line of the Southwest Quarter of said Northeast Quarter 252.75 -feet;
thence South parallel with the West line of said Northeast Quarter to the
center line of Minneapolis & Watertown Road (know known as Golden Valley Road);
thence East along the center line of said road to the East line of the South-
west Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said section; thence North to the
place of beginning. All according to the United States Government Survey thereof.
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of
Golden Valley that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and
approved, and the proper officers of the Village are hereby authorized and
instructed to sign the original copy of said plat and to do all things necessary
and proper in the premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by
member Moberg and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor
thereof: Bix, Hoover, Moberg, Riggs, and Ulstad; and the following voted
against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed
and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Village Clerk.
