#655 06-03-74 Easement Vacation Cheyenne Land CompanyResolution No. 655 June 3.,'1974 Member Hoover introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION Easements Vacation - Cheyenne Land Company WHEREAS, a Petition by the majority of the owners of real property adjacent to the easements described below has been duly filed with the City Council, and said Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing that in the interest of the public that said easements be vacated, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that said easements lying within the corporate limits of said City as described below, as the same are now laid out and dedicated within the said limits of the said City, be, and the same now are hereby vacated: Easements for utilities purposes over, on and across the following described tracts of land: The South 30 feet of the West 26 2/3 rods of that part of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 30, Township 118, Range 21, described as follows: Commencing at a point 60 rods due south of a point on the North line of said Section 30, which is 53 1/3 rods West of the Northeast corner of said quarter section; thence running West parallel with the said North line of said quarter Section 53 1/3 rods; thence at right angles South 60 rods; thence at right angles East 53 1/3 rods; thence at right angles North to point of beginning. And also the South 30 feet of the following described tract: Commencing at the Southwest corner of the North- west quarter (NW 1/4) of the Southwest quarter (SW 1/4) of the Northwest quarter (NW 1/4) of Section 30, Township 118, Range 21; Thence North 60 rods thence East 53 1/3 rods thence South 60 rods thence West to beginning except road, all in Hennepin County. Atte t: City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Anderson, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Bix, Hoover, Moberg, and Riggs; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the Clerk.
