Member Hoover introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION
(Street Vacation - Portion of Ensign Avenue)
WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in
a notice duly published with respect to the subject matter hereof and has
heard all interested persons, and it appearing that in the interest of the
public that a portion of Ensign Avenue be vacated, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that
said portion of said public street lying within the corporate limits of said
City as described below, as the same is now laid out and dedicated within
the said limits of the said City, be, and the same now is hereby vacated:
All that part of Ensign Avenue
North from its intersection with
State Trunk Highway No. 55 on the
South to its intersection with
Golden Valley Road on the North;
subject however and reserving to
the City an easement for public
utility purposes and the maintenance
thereof on, over and across all of
said vacated street as described abDve.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by
Member Moberg, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in
favor thereof: Anderson, Hoover, Moberg, and Riggs; and the following
voted against the same: Bix, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the
Clerk.
