Member Anderson introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
"RESOLUTION RESCINDING PRIOR RESOLUTION
TAX FORFEITED PROPERTIES"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley heretofore
passed a resolution No. 754 on March 3, 1975 approving the classification and
sale of certain tax forfeited properties more specifically referenced thereon
and,
WHEREAS, it now appears that said resolution was enacted in error for
the reason that said City Council intended to apply to the County Board of
Hennepin County and the Minnesota Tax Commissioner for the conveyance of all
said tax forfeited properties referred to in said resolution, in order that
the City of Golden Valley might use the same for park and ponding purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of
Golden Valley that it hereby rescinds and repeals in its entirety the afore—
said resolution of this City Council dated March 3, 1975 and enacted as
resolution No. 754.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council which, shall, by separate
resolution, make application to the County Board of Hennepin County and the
Minnesota State Tax Commissioner for the conveyanc o the City, for park and
ponding purposed of all of the properties covere by the ab a referencee
and rescinded resolution no. 754.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Bix and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bix, Hoover and Thorsen, and the following voted against
the same; None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk.
