Member Bix introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION
FOR CONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFEITED LAND
(list "647—C")
WHEREAS, it appears that certain parcels of land have been forfeited to
the State of Minnesota for non—payment of taxes, and __said parcels are needed
by the City of Golden Valley for park purposes and ponding purposes," said
lands presently being used for park purposes and ponding purposes, and have
been used for several years:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of
Golden Valley that the Mayor and City Clerk by hereby authorized to make
application to the County Board of Hennepin County and the State Tax Commissioner
for the conveyance of the following described parcels; of tax forfeited land to
the City of Golden Valley for park purposes and ponding purposes:
Lot 6, Blk. 8, First Addition to Lakeview Heights;
Except road; Plat 85400, Parcel 7170, Dist. 28.
Lot 7, Blk. 8 First Addition to Lakeview Heights;
Except road; Plat 85400, Parcel 7250, Dist. 28.
Lot 8, Blk. 8, First Addition ,to La vie ights;
Plat 85400, Parcel 7300, Dis . 28

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Anderson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Anderson, Bix, Hoover and Thorsen; the following voted against
the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk.
