#070 09-07-76 Specify Type of Use Outlot A Ring's Colonial Second AdditionResolution No. 70 September 7, 1976 Member Swartz introduced and read the following written resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION (Authorizing and specifying type of public use, general park purposes, Outlot A, Ring's Colonial Second Addition) WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore accepted a plat for Ring's Colonial Second Addition, which plat, as approved by the City Council, included a dedication of Outlot A therein for public use, and WHEREAS, at the time of recording said plat the Hennepin County Register of Deeds indicated a need for a more specific definition of the public use purposes for which said Outlot A was dedicated and WHEREAS, the dedication was amended to reflect the dedication of said Outlot A for public park, when it was also the intent of the City Council to include within the meaning thereof open space and ponding area to be bordered by a trail—park area, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Golden Valley that the foregoing dedication of Outlot A of Ring's Colonial Second Addition, has been accepted for public park purposes to include ponding and/or open space as an integral part of the trail and publ��P rk use which said Outlot A shall be put. Hoover, Mayor Mary H Marske, City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Hoover, Johnson, Swartz and Thorsen and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk. 1 233
