#072 08-01-77 Accept Plat Expressway International ParkResolution No. 72 August 1, 1977 Member Johnson introduced and read the following written resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION (Acceptance of Plat - Expressway International Park) WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Golden Valley, purusant to due notice has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as Expressway International Park covering the following described tract of land: That part of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 all in Section 33, Township 117 North, Range 21 West, Hennepin County, Minnesota, according to the U.S. Government Survey thereof described as follows: Commencing at a point in the Southerly line of the Minnesota Railway right of way, distant 50 feet East at right angles from the West line of said Section 33: thence South parallel with said Section line to the Northerly line of State Highway No. 55; thence Easterly along said Highway to a line parallel with and distant 80 feet Southewesterly at right angles from the center line of the main line track of the Minneapolis Northfield and Southern Railroad; thence Northwesterly along said parallel line to a point distant 200 feet Southerly, as measured along said parallel line, from its intersection with the Southerly line of the Minnesota Western Railway Company right of way line; thence Northwesterly to a point in said Southerly right of way line, said point being 200 feet Westerly of its intersection with the Southwesterly right of way line of the Minneapolis Northfield and Southern Railroad; thence Westerly along said right of way to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, all persons present were given an opportunity to be heard, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original copy of said plat and to do al t ings necessary and proper in the premises.
