#085 10-03-77 Adopt Tax LevyResolution No. 85 October 3, 1977 Member Swartz introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION (Adopting a Budget for 1978 and Establishing the City Property Tax Levy for 1977 Collectible in 1978) WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 412.701 and 412.711, the City Manager has prepared the estimates for the annual budget for the year 1978 and has presented such estimates to the Council for their consideration, and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed such estimates and made certain revisions thereto, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That the City Clerk is directed to advise the Hennepin County Auditor that the City of Golden Valley requests the Auditor to raise the sum of $2,095,582 through ad valorem property taxes collectible in 1978 for general purposes and to futher advise the Auditor that the above sum includes the necessary levy for Public Employees Retirement Association and that the per capita excise tax monies have been taken into consideration and have not been included in the amount requested. 3.
