Member Stockman introduced and read the written resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS
OF SPECIAL CITY ELECTION
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, that it is hereby found, determined and declared that the election held
in and for said City on June 6, 1978, was in all respects duly and legally called
and held and the returns thereof have been duly canvassed and the voted cast
at said election for and against the question submitted to the electors were as
follows:
Shall the City of Golden Valley bororw money by issuing its general
obligation bonds in the amount of $575,000 for the purpose of
constructing, furnishing and equipping two new fire stations in and for
the City?
and said proposition having received the aDDrova a m i itv of the votes
cast thereon, is hereby declared to have carrie .

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Thorsen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Hoover, Johnson, Stockman and Thorsen and the following voted
against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk.
