Member Anderson introduced and read the written resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION WAIVING THE PUBLIC HEARING
PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES 429.031, SUBD. 3
AND ORDERING CONSTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
RS L 95
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, as follows:
WHEREAS, all the owners of real property affected by the above proposed
public improvements and abuttting upon any street named as the location of said
improvement have petitioned the Council to construct the improvements and to
assess the entire cost against their property, it is hereby found and determined
that public hearing is not necessary pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.031,
Subd. 3.
Being fully advised of the pertinent facts, this Council does hereby
determine to proceed with the construction of the proposed public improvement
for said City in accordance with the description of said improvement contained
in the petition and waiver of right to public hearing.
Ill.
It is hereby found and determined that said public improvement is
feasible. (The Council reserves the right to consolidate said improvement
with such other improvements as it may deem advisable to do.)
IV.
Northern States Power Company is hereby designated to construct said
proposed public improvements.
V.
The City Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the construction
of said proposed public improvement and is hereby autho ized, ordered and
instructed to prepare final plans and specifications o said ' provement
and submit the same to the City Council for approva a the ar iest possible
date.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Johnson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members
voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Hoover, Johnson, Stockman and Thorsen
and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution
was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature
attested by the Clerk.
