CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS

BE IT R SOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, as fold\doe
1. Thatlic hearing held on this day at :30 p.m., at the
address of 7800 Goy Road in the City of Golden lley, Minnesota,
after notice of sag duly published as required y law, this Council
has consulted the 11 persons interested, and, eing fully advised
of the pertinent fhereby determine to proc ed with the construction
of certainproposei rovements for the sai City, in accordance with
the description ofro ments contained inaid notice, except as
follows:

2. It is hereby found and eterm'ned that said public improvements
are feasible and can best be construct d set forth in said report and not
in connection with some other improveme (The Council reserves the right
to consolidate said improvements with o r public improvements if it seems
advisable to do so.)
3. The cost of said imp r vements 'Nall be paid in part out of
special assessments to be levied,#s set forth n said notice of public hearing.
4. The City Enginee is hereby designs ed as engineer for the con-
struction of said proposed p lic improvements, an is hereby authorized,
ordered and instructed to p pare final plans and s cifications for said
improvements and submit t same to the City Council or approval at the
earliest possible date.

adoption:
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING
ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
79 SS 1
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. In conformity with the provisions of Chapter 398 Session Laws
of Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposed to construct certain proposed
public improvements within the City as stated in the form of notice included
in Paragraph 4 hereof.
2. The Engineer for the City has reported to the Council advising
it in a preliminary way that the proposed public improvements are feasible
and that they should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some
other improvements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as
follows:
$6,183.70
3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the
form of notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a
public hearing on the proposed public improvements as described therein.
4. The Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the
time, place and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive
weeks in GOLDEN VALLEY POST, the official newspaper of the City, the first
of said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated 3-3-79, and the
last of said publications to be in the issue dated 3-1�5Such notice

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Stockman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted
in favor thereof: Anderson, Hoover, Johnson, Stockman and Thorsen and the
following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared
duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by
the City Clerk.

ON
PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
79 SS 1
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Golden Valley,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on Monday March 19, 1979 at 7:30 P.M.
at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road, in said City for the purpose
of holding a public hearing on certain proposed public improvements.
The City Engineer's estimated cost, the type of improvement, area where
said improvement will be constructed and which it will serve is as follows:
79 STORM SEWER 1
Tract A, B & C, Registered Land Survey No. 999; also, Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5,
Block 1 and Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 2, All in Zimmerman Terrace; and, also,
All that part of the East One -Half (EZ) of Section 18, Township 29, Range
24, bounded by Golden Valley Road on the North, Zimmerman Terrace on the
East and South and Heathbrooke on the West and South.
ESTIMATED COST: $6,183.70
In conducting said public hearing for,making its decision on the proposed
improvement, the City Council proposes'torproceed under the authority
granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Laws of 1969 as amended.
All property within the City which is benefited by the improvement is
proposed to be assessed for such improvement as set forth in the above
description, including all property within the described areas and/or
abutting on streets or lines described above and including all railroad
property and railroad rights-of-way and public property located in or
abutting on the above described streets, lines and areas.
All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the street or
lines described above are hereby notified to be present at said public
hearing and to make known their objections to such proposed public im-
provements, if any there be.
