Member Thorsen introduced and read the written resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION
Utility Easement Vacation - Busch's Golden Valley Acres
WHEREAS, a petition of the majority of the owners of real property
adjacent to the tract of land described below has been filed with the City
Council, and said Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice
duly published and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing that
in the interest of the public that that certain easement over the following
described tract of land be vacated, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Golden Valley that the
aforesaid easement over the following described tract of land be, and the
same is, hereby vacated:
A perpetual easement for sanitary sewer purposes in, on, and
over and across all that part of Lots 9 and 11, Busch's
Golden Valley Acres, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying
within a strip of land 10 feet in width, the center line
of which is described as follows: Beginning at the
Southwest corner of said Lot 9; thence east along the
South line of said Lot 9, a distance of 443.55 feet; thence
Northeasterly deflecting to the left 38 degrees 39 minutes
a distance of 240.37 feet and there termiAting.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted
in favor thereof: Anderson, Hoover, Johnson, Stockman and Thorsen and the
following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was
declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature
attested by the City Clerk.
