#051 05-07-79 Sale ofProperty Not Necesssary for Public PurposesResolution #51 May 7, 1979 Member Johnson introduced and read the written resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION (Finding a certain house severed from the realty to be no longer necessary for public purposes and authorizing sale of same) WHEREAS, it appears that the house on lot 29, Auditor's Subdivision No. 360 Golden Valley, Minnesota which house has been severed from the Realty, is no longer necessary for public purposes and; WHEREAS, the City is desirous of awarding by bids said house to a private individual, and; WHEREAS, the house was offered for bids in the April 19th publication of the Golden Valley Post and bids were opened May 2, 1979. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that the house located on lot 29, Auditor's Subdivision #360 Hennepin County Golden Valley, Minnesota w-ich house has been severed from the realty is no longer necessary for public purposes and may ae sold as excess public property. BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, that the City Manager may awa excess public property to a private party to the highest and bidder under said circumstances. // ATTEST: 1 JOHN MURPHY-',' CITY CLERK bid said house as responsible ver, Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Stockman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Hoover, Johnson, Stockman and Thorsen and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted signed by Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk. 1 1 1
