#070 06-18-79 Order Improvements 79-SS-3Resolution #70 June 18, 1979 Member Johnson introduced and read the written resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERTIN CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS 79 SS 3 BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 7:30 P.M., at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as repuired by law, this Council has consulted the view of all persons interested, and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public improvements for the said City, in accordance with the description of said improve- ments contained in said notice, except as follows: 2. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements are feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report and not in connection with some other improvments. (The Council reserves the right to consolidate said improvements with other public improvements if it seems advisable to do so.) 3. The cost of said improvements shall be paid in part out of special assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 4. The City Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the construction of said proposed public improvements, and is hereby authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specificatio for said improvements and submit the same to the City Council for approval t the ea iest possible date. HOOVER, MAYOR ATTEST: JOHN MURP , CITY CLERK The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Stockman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Hoover, Johnson and Stockman; and the following voted against the same: none, Thorsen abstained, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Clerk. 1
