#080 07-16-79 Order Improvement 79-SC-1Resolution # 80 July 16, 1979 Member Anderson introduced and read the written resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS 79 SC 1 BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at apublic hearing held on this day at 7:30 p.m., at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law, this Council has consulted the view of all persons interested, and, being fully advised of the pertinent fact, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public im- provements for the said City, in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in said notice, except as follows: 2. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements are feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report and not in connection with some other improvements. (The Council reserves the right to consolidate said improvements with other public improvements if it seems advisable to do so.) 3. The cost of said improvements shall be paid in part out of special assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 4. The City Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the construction of said proposed public improvements, and is he by authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifi ions for said improvements and submit the same to the City Council for appr at Ai earliest possbile date. HOOVER, MAYOR ATTEST: JOHN MU4?19Y, CITY CLERK The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Stockman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Hoover, Stockman and Thorsen, and the following voted against the same: none, Johnson abstained, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk. 1
