#095 10-02-79 Approve Construction 79-SI-13Resolution #95 October 2, 1979 Member Thorsen introduced and read the written resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING MANNER OF CONSTRUCTION 79 S 113 WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the above proposed public improvement construction and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for its approval; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley: 1. That all of such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 2. That with respect to all of the public improvements referenced above, ex- cepting therefrom only those noted below, the City Clerk shall prepare an Advertisement for Bids for making such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published as required by statute, shall specify the work to be done and shall state the time and place that the bids shall be opened and con- sidered by the City Engineer and City Clerk. 3. That there is hereby excepted from the force and effect of the foregoing resolution the following public improvement(s): NONE 4. That as respects the following public improvement(s): NONE 5. That as respects the following public improvement(s): NONE the same does not,, on the same price basis, exceed twenty-five percent (25%) of the original contract price of that certain contract entered into on 19—, with for public improvement( awarded on a unit price basis with a total con- tract amount of $ Therefor, the Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized to change the contract of_ 19with for public improvementTs7 so as to include the additional units of work at the construction of public improvement(s) when the said contractor shall have furnished of the additional work as required by law. same unit price providing for tor's bond in the amount ROBERT R. HOOVER, MAYOR ATTEST: JOHN MU Y, CITY CLERK The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Johnson, Hoover, Thorsen and Stockman and the following members voted against same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted and signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk.
