#098 10-02-79 Order Improvements 79-DA-1Resolution #98 October 2, 1979 Member Thorsen introduced and read the written resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS 79 DA 1 BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 7:30 P.M. at the address of 7800 Golden Valley;Road, in the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly pblished as required by law, this Council has consulted the view of all persons interested, and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public im- provements for the said City, in accordance with the description of said improve- ments contained in said notice, except as follows: NONE 2. It is hereby found and determined that said public improvements are feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report and not in con- nection with some other improvements. (The Council reserves the right to consol- idate said improvements with other public improvements if it seems advisable to do so) . 3. The cost of said improvements shall be paid in part out of special assess- ments to be levied as set forth in said notice of said public hearing. 4. The City Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the construction of said proposed public improvements, and is hereby athorized, ordered and ins- tructed to prepare final plans and specificationsf said mprovements and submit the same to the City Council for approval at the r iesssible date. v ROBERT R. HOOVER, MAYOR ATTEST: JOHN MURPHY, ITY CLERK The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Stockman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor therefo: Anderson, Hoover, Johnson, Stockman and Thorsen, and the following voted against same: none, whereupon said resulution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the 'Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk. 1
