#146 01-21-80 Amend General Wages and SalariesResolution #146 January 21, 1980 Member Mitchell introudced and read the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION Amending Resolution Fixing General Wages and Salaries for 1980 BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. Pursuant to the Labor Agreement between Local #49 and the City of Golden Valley, the following wages shall be added to the Resolution Fixing General Wages and Salaries for 1980, passed December 17, 1980: STREET DIVISION Heavy Equipment Operator (3) $8.57 Light Equipment Operator (7) 8.12 Heavy Equipment Mechanic (3) 8.57 Auto Serviceman/Small (1) 8.32 Motor Mechanic UTILITY DIVISION Utility Maintenance (3) 8.12 Utility Maintenance (4) 8.34 PARK DIVISION Park Maintenance II (6) 8.12 2. Pursuant to the Labor Agreement between Local #27 of Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. and the City of Golden Valley, the following wages shall be added to the Resolution Fixing General Wages and Salaries for 1980 passed December 17, 1979: Budgeted Title START 6 MO 9 MO 1 YR 2 YR 3 YR 21 Public Safety Officer 1,138 1,215 1,269 1,400 1,575 1,750 (Hired after 1-1-79) Public Safety Officer ---- ---- ---- 1,552 1,652 1,750 (Hired before 1-1-79) 3. Pursuant to the Labor Agreement between Local #50 of Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. and the City of Golden Valley, the following wages shall be added to the Resolution Fixing General Wages and Salaries for 1980 passed December 17, 1980: Starting Salary: 1200 of the top Patrol rate ($1,626 per month in 1979) for Public Safety Officer. Following completion of 12 months as Sergeant" 124% of the top Patrol rate for Public Safety Officer. Resolution #146 (continued) 4. Section 2 of the Personnel Resolution passed December 17 1979 is amended by changing the dollar amount of the City's contribution to all Office, Technical and Clerical employees for health and life insurance from $80.00 per month to $85.00 per month. Such change shall be effective for the January insurance payment.
