#218 06-02-80 Accept Plat Valley Village Addition1 Resolution #218 June 2, 1980 Member Anderson introduced and read the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION (Acceptance of Plat - Valley Village Addition) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as Valley Village Addition, covering the following described tract of land: That part of the South 70 rods of the South Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 19, Township 29 North, Range 24 West of the 4th Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the South line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 19, a distant 1518.5 feet East of the Southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter; thence West along the South line of said Northwest Quarter, 840 feet; thence North parallel with the West line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 19, a distance of 412.05 feet; thence at a right angle East 220 feet; thence at a right angle North 603 feet to the South line of the right of way of the Electric Short Line Railroad Company, as described in Book 662 of Deeds at 428, Records of Hennepin County, Minnesota; thence East along the Southline of said railroad right of way, 620 feet; thence South parallel with the West line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 19, a distance of 1018 feet to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original copy of said plat and to do all things necessary and proper in the premises. y ROSEMA Y THOR AYOR ATTEST: JOHN MURPHY, OfTYCLERK The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Johnson, Stockman and Thorsen and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Clerk.
