#236 07-07-80 Accept Plat North Wirth Parkway 1st AdditionResolution #236 July 7, 1980 Member Johnson introduced and read the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION Acceptance of Plat - North Wirth Parkway 1st Addition WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as North Wirth Parkway covering the following described tract of land: PARCEL 1. Lots 226, 227, 228, 229, 230, 231, 232, 233, 235, 235, 236, 237, 238, 239, 262, 263, 264, 265, 266, 267, 268, 269, 270, 271, 2.72, 273, 274, 275, 334, 335, 336, 337, 338, 339, 340, 341, 342, 343, 344, 345, 346, 347, 348, 349, 374, 375, 376, 377, 378, 379, 380, 381, 382, 383, 384, 385, 386, 387, 388 and 389; all in the recorded plat of "GLENWOOD." PARCEL 2. The North-South alley and the East-West alley, originally dedicated in the recorded plat of "GLENWOOD" and now vacated, lying within the bounds of that particular block in said plat comprised of Lots 226 to 239, inclusive and Lots 262 to 275, inclusive. PARCEL 3• The North-South alley and the East-West alley, originally dedicated in the recorded plat of "GLENWOOD" and now vacated, lying within the bounds of that particular block in said plat comprised of Lots 334 to 347, inclusive and Lots 376 to 389, inclusive. PARCEL 4. That part of the alley, originally dedicated in the recorded plat of "Boagan Green Hennepin Co., Minn." and now vacated, lying between the easterly extension of the north line of Lot 349 in the recorded plat of "GLENWOOD" and the easterly extension of the south line of Lot 348, "GLENWOOD." PARCEL 5• That part of France Avenue, originally dedicated in the recorded plat of "Boagan Green Hennepin Co., Minn." and now vacated, lying between the easterly extension of the north line of Lot 374 in the recorded plat of "GLENWOOD" and the easterly extension of the south line of Lot 387, "GLENWOOD." PARCEL 6. That part of Sunnyridge Lane North (formerly known as Archibald. Avenue), originally dedicated in the recorded plat of "Boagan Green Hennepin Co., Minn." and now vacated, lying southerly of a line drawn from the northeast corner of Lot 262 to the northwest corner of Lot 347 in the recorded plat of "GLENWOOD" and lying northerly of a line drawn from the southeast corner of Lot 273 to the southwest corner of Lot 336, "GLENWOOD." PARCEL 7. That part of 8th Avenue North, originally dedicated in the plat of "Boagan Green Hennepin Co., Minn." and now vacated, lying westerly of a line drawn from the northeast corner of Lot 376 to the south- east corner of Lot 375 in the recorded plat of "GLENWOOD11 and lying of the following described line: easterly Resolution #236 (continued) COMMENCING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF lot 347 in said "GLENWOOD"; thence easterly along the north line of said Lot 347 a distance of 5.82 feet to the point of inter- section with a line drawn southerly, perpendicular to the south line of Lot 348 in said "GLENWOOD," from a point on said south line distant 6.79 feet easterly from the southwest corner of said Lot 348, said point of intersection being the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence easterly, northeasterly and northerly, along a tangential curve convace to the northwest having a radius of 60.00 feet and a central angle of 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds, a distance of 94.25 feet to the south line of said Lot 348 and said line there terminating. WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity be heard, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original copy of said plat and to do all things necessary and proper in the premises.
