ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEAENTS

BE IT RESOLVED by the Cites Council/of the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota
as follows: r
1. In conformity with the prdvisjons of Chapter 398 Session Laws of
Minnesota, 1953, this Council proposed tconst uct certain proposed public im-
provements within the City as stated ip/the form f notice included in Paragraph
4 hereof. ; 1_11,
2. The Engineer for ehe City has reported`,o the Council advising it
in a preliminary way that the pr osed public improvements -are feasible and that
they should',best be made as pro osed and not in connection wi.,th some other im-
provements, and has given his estimated cost of the improvements as follows:

Member Anderson introduced and read the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION
ORDER PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT
80 SI 14
WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct a bituminous travelway on Tract E,
RLS 11, and to assess the benefited properties pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,
Chapter 429,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, Minnesota that the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer
for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient
speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improve-
ment is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement
as recommended.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Johnson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Johnson, Mitchell, Stockman and Thorsen and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and
her signature attested by the Clerk.
