#278 11-17-80 Adopt Salaries Compensation ProgramResolution #278 November 17, 1980 Member Anderson introduced and read the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION (Adopting 1980 Market Adjustments in Salaries as Provided for in the Compensation Program) WHEREAS, on September 15, 1980 the City Council of the City of Golden Valley adopted a Compensation Program establishing that Golden Valley will pay salaries which are an average of those paid to similar positions in comparable municipalities; and WHEREAS, job descriptions have been prepared and salary surveys have been doncucted using these job descriptions to determine salaries paid to others In comparable municipalities and positions: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that it hereby adopts the following salary schedule for the following positions to be effective for the pay period starting November 17, 1980: MANAGEMENT 1 1 f START 6 MONTHS 1 YEAR 2 YEARS Director of Public Yorks 34,200 35,327 36,455 37,582 Director of Public Safety 33,477 34,581 35,684 36,788 Director of Admin. Where there are no comparable positions to be utilized, a comparison will be done internally, using responsibilities, skills and abilities as the comparison factors.
