Member Johnson introduced and read the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION
(Fixing General Wages
and Salaries for 1981)
WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed at length proposed salaries and
wages for both classified and unclassified City personnel as respects the calendar
year 1981;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Golden Valley that it hereby adopts the following general wages and salary
schedules for the year 1981, said schedules to commence for work performer
by the personnel named herein effective for the pay period starting December
29, 1980.

And, Be It Further Resolved That:
1. The dollar amount of the City's contribution to all Office, Technical and
Clerical employees for health and life insurance be changed from the current
$85.00 per month to $97.00 per month.
2. The amount of the City's contribution to all supervisory personnel be changed
from the current amount of the full cost of family health coverage based
upon standard Blue Cross -Blue Shieldplan premiums to an amount equal to the
average premium of the 5 plans.
3. The vacation for all non-union personnel be changed to the current schedule of:

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Anderson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Anderson, Johnson, Mitchell, Stockman and Thorsen and the following voted against
the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Clerk.
