#068 08-18-81 Vacate Streets Alleys Plat of GlenwoodResolution #68 August 18, 1981 99 Member Stockman introduced and read the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION VACATING STREETS AND ALLEYS IN PLAT OF GLENWOOD WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published with respect to the subject matter hereof and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing in the interest of the public that said streets and alleys in the Plat of Glenwood be vacated, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that said portions of said public streets and alleys lying within the corporate limits of said city as described below, as the same are now laid out and dedicated within the said limits of the said city, be, and the same now are hereby vacated: Street - Sunnyridge Lane: All of Sunnyridge Lane lying southerly of the north line of Lot 281, extended and northerly of the south line of Lot 289, extended; Street - France Avenue North: All of France Avenue North lying southerly of the north line of Lot 395, extended and northerly of the south line of Lot 403, extended; 14 foot wide alley: All of the alley lying southerly of the north line of Lot 281, extended and northerly of the south line of Lot 289, extended; 14 foot wide alley: All of the alley lying southerly of the north line of Lot 395, extended and northerly of the south line of Lot 403, extended; All in the Plat of Glenwood, Hennepin County, Minnesota; subject however and reserving to the City an easement for public utility purposes and the maintenance thereof on, over and across all of said vacated streets and alleyways, as described above. ATTEST: Joan Thompson, Deputy City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Mitchell, Stockman and Thorsen, and the following were absent: Anderson, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy City Clerk.
