#82-032 04-06-82 Vacate Easement Fredsall's AdditionResolution 82-32 April 6, 1982 281 p1 Member Stockman introduced and read the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR VACATION OF EASEMENTS IN THE PROPOSED PLAT OF FREDSALL'S ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition of the majority of the owners of real property adjacent to the tracts of land described below has been filed with the City Council, and said Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing in the interest of the public that certain utility easements over the following described tracts of land be vacated; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Golden Valley, that the aforesaid utility easements over the following described tracts of land be, and the same are, hereby vacated: 1. A perpetual easement for sanitary sewer purposes in favor of the City of Golden Valley over the northerly 10 feet of the southerly 19.7 feet of the west 113 feet of the east 450 feet of the north 2 acres of the south quarter of that part of the west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 30, Township 29, Range 24, lying south of the south line of Glenwood Avenue, recorded in Book 2137 of Deeds, page 539, Office of the Hennepin County Recorder. 2. A perpetual easement for sanitary sewer purposes in favor of the City of Golden Valley over the northerly 10 feet of the southerly 19.7 feet of the west 112 feet of the east 224 feet of the north 2 acres of the south quarter of that part of the west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 30, Township 29, Range 24, lying south of the south line of Glenwood Avenue, recorded in Book 2137 of Deeds, page 538, Office of the Hennepin County Recorder. 3. A perpetual easement for sanitary sewer purposes in favor of the City of Golden Valley over the northerly 10 feet of the east 100 feet of the west half of the north half of the following described tract of line: the south quarter, except the north 2 acres thereof, of that part of the west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 30, Township 29, Range 24, lying south of the south line of Glenwood Avenue, recorded in Book 2132 of Deeds, page 382, Office of the Hennepin County Recorder. 4. A perpetual easement for sanitary sewer purposes in favor of the City of Golden Valley over the northerly 10 feet of the southerly 19.7 feet of the west 113 feet of the east 337 feet of the north 2 acres of the south quarter of that part of the west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 30, Township 29, Range 24, lying south of the south line of Glenwood Avenue, recorded in Book 2137 of Deeds, page 539, Office of the Hennepin County Recorder. 1 282 Resolution 82-32 - Continued Ros ary e ayor ATTEST: y Na y, Deput City Clerk April 6, 1982 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Anderson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Johnson, Mitchell, Stockman and Thorsen, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy City Clerk. 1
