Member Johnson introduced and read the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF PLAT - FREDSALL'S ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due
notice has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be
known as Fredsall's Addition covering the following described tract of land:
That part of the west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter,
Section 30, Township 29, Range 24, described as follows: Beginning at a point
on the east line of said west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast
quarter distant 985.35 feet south from the northeast corner of said west half of
the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter; thence west 450 feet along a
line which intersects the west line of said west half of the northwest quarter
of the northeast quarter at a point distant 983.1 feet south from the northwest
corner of said west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter;
thence on an assumed bearing of south 0 degrees 34 minutes 47 seconds east along
a line parallel with the east line of said west half of the northwest quarter of
the northeast quarter a distance of 131.7 feet; thence south 89 degrees 48 minutes
21 seconds east 19.25 feet; thence south 0 degrees 32 minutes 57 seconds east,
92.58 feet; thence south 89 degrees 46 minutes 57 seconds east, 45.76 feet;
thence south 0 degrees 34 minutes 47 seconds east, 92.59 feet to the south line
of said west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter; thence
easterly along said south line 385.04 feet to the southeast corner of said west
half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter; thence north 0 degrees
34 minutes 47 seconds west along the east line of said west half of the northwest
quarter of the northeast quarter to the point of beginning; except the east 112
feet of the north 131.7 feet of the said above described tract of land and except
the west 113 feet of the east 337 feet of the north 131.7 feet of the said above
described tract of land. The northwest corner and a point 131.7 feet south of
the northwest corner are marked by Judical Landmarks set pursuant to Torrens
Case No. 13828.
And
That part of Lot 10, Block 15, Kennedy's West Tyrol Hills Addition, described
as beginning at the northeast corner of said Lot 10; thence west along the north
line of said Lot 10 a distance of 112.65 feet; thence southeasterly a distance
of 59.55 feet along a line which intersects the east line of said Lot 10 at a
point 32 feet south from the northeast corner of said Lot 10; thence northeasterly
to the point of beginning.
And
The east 385 feet of the south half of the following: Commencing at the southwest
corner of the west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter; thence
east to the southeast corner thereof; thence north to the southeast corner of
the north 2 acres of the south quarter of that part of the west half of the
northwest quarter of the northeast quarter lying south of Glenwood Avenue; thence
west to the southwest corner of said 2 acres tract; thence south to beginning
except road. Section 30, Township 29, Range 24, according to the United States
Government Survey thereof and situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota.

The east 112 feet of that part of the west half of the northwest quarter of the
northeast quarter of Section 30, Township 29, Range 24, Hennepin County, Minnesota
described as follows: Beginning at a point in the west line of said northwest
quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 30, which is 983.1 feet south of the
northwest corner of said northwest quarter of the northeast quarter; thence east
661.45 feet more or less to a point in the east line of the west half of the
northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of said Section 30, which is 985.35 feet
south of the north line of said Section 30; thence south along said east line of
the west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter, 131.7 feet; thence
west 661.59 feet more or less to a point in the west line of the northwest quarter
of the northeast quarter of Section 30, which is 131.7 feet south of the point of
beginning; thence north 131.7 feet to the point of beginning, according to the
United States Government Survey thereof; and situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
And
The west 113 feet of the east 337 feet of that part of the west half of the
northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 30, Township 29 North, Range
24, west of the 4th principal meridian, described as follows: Commencing at a point
in the west line of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of said Section
30, which is distant 983.1 feet south of the northwest corner of the northwest
quarter of the northeast quarter; thence east 661.45 feet, more or less, to a point
in the east line of the west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter
of said Section 30, which is distant 985.35 feet south of the north line of said
Section 30; thence south along the east line of the west half of the northwest
quarter of the northeast quarter a distance of 131.7 feet; thence west 661.59 feet,
more or less, to a point in the west line of the northwest quarter of the northeast
quarter of said Section 30, which is distant 131.7 feet south of the point of .
beginning; thence north, a distance of 131.7 feet to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved,
and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign
the original copy of said plat and to do all things necessary and proper in the
premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Stockman and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Johnson, Mitchell, Stockman and Thorsen, and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.
