#82-084 08-17-82 Amend Development Block Grant Program3 Q O Resolution 82-84 August 17, 1982 Member Mitchell introduced and read the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF GOLDEN VALLEY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley has executed a Cooperative Agreement with Hennepin County agreeing to participate in the Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program; and WHEREAS, additional CDBG funds are required for Year VIII Project No. 004, Assistance to Low and Moderate Income Housing Development, for the Medley Park Townhouses Project; and WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley CDBG Program includes unexpended funds in Year VI Project No. 913, Comprehensive Plan, and Year VIII Project No. 554, Housing Rehabilitation; and WHEREAS, City of Golden Valley staff on July 22, 1982 notified Hennepin County by letter of proposed amendments to the City of Golden Valley CDBG Program transferring funds from Year VI Project No. 913, Comprehensive Plan, and Year VIII Project No. 554, Housing Rehabilitation, to Year VIII Project No. 004, Assistance to Low and Moderate Income Housing Development; and WHEREAS, the Golden Valley City Council on August 17, 1982 held a public hearing to receive citizen opinion concerning the proposed amendments to the Golden Valley CDBG Program; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, that the City of Golden Valley CDBG Program is amended by transfer of $11,697 from Year VI Project No. 913, Comprehensive Plan, and $23,267 from Year VIII Project No. 554, Housing Rehabilitation, to Year VIII Project No. 004, Assistance to Low and Moderate Income Housing Development, for the Medley Park Townhouses Project Rosemary Thotsek Mayor ATTEST: *yNay Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Mitchell, Stockman and Thorsen, and the following were absent: Anderson, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy City Clerk.
