83-063 - 06-21 Accept Plat Meadowbrook School AdditionResolution 83-63 June 21, 1983 Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF PLAT - MEADOWBROOK SCHOOL ADDITION WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as Meadowbrook School Addition, covering the following described tract of land: That part of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 19, Township 29, Range 24, described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of Section 33, Township 118, Range 21; thence on a bearing of north, assumed bearing, along the west line of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of said Section 19, a distance of 570.01 feet; thence northeasterly, a distance of 138.93 feet, along a nontangential curve, concave to the southeast, having a radius of 1883.86 feet, a central angle of 4 degrees 13 minutes 31 seconds and a chord bearing of north 49 degrees 37 minutes 00 seconds east, to a point 105.80 feet east of the west line of said southwest quarter of the southwest quarter; thence on a bearing of east, a distance of 224.20 feet; thence on a bearing of south, a distance of 68.24 feet to the southwesterly line of State Highway No. 100; thence southeasterly a distance of 296.05 feet, along said southwesterly highway line, being a nontangential curve, concave to the northeast, having a radius of 1737.02 feet, a central angle of 9 degrees 45 minutes 55 seconds and a chord bearing of south 42 degrees 45 minutes 03 seconds east; thence south 47 degrees 38 minutes 00 seconds east, tangent to said curve, being a continuation of said southwesterly highway line, a distance of 273.43 feet; thence south 32 degrees 02 minutes 00 seconds west, a distance of 160.08 feet to an intersection with a line drawn parallel to and 647.84 feet east measured at right angles from the east line of the southeast quarter of said Section 33; thence on a bearing of south, along said parallel line, a distance of 264.00 feet to the center line of Glenwood Avenue; thence north 74 degrees 41 minutes 00 seconds west, along said center line, a distance of 338.70 feet; thence north 74 degrees 16 minutes 30 seconds west continuing along said center line, a distance of 333.09 feet to the west line of said Section 19; thence north 1 degree 03 minutes 22 seconds west, along the west line of said Section 19, a distance of 29.60 feet to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original and copy of said plat and to do all things necessary and proper in the premises.
