Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF PLAT - STANDARD OIL 3RD ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due
notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be
known as Standard Oil 3rd Addition, covering the following described tract of
land:
Tract A, Registered Land Survey No. 1059 Files of Registrar of Titles, County of
Hennepin except the south 200 feet of the west 770 feet thereof, and except the
part thereof which lies east of the east line of the west 50 feet and westerly
of a line parallel with and distant 30 feet easterly of the following described
line:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of Section 31, Township
118, Range 21; thence north along the west line of said section a distance of
900 feet; thence deflect to the right at an angle of 90°, a distance of 25.5
feet; thence deflect to the left an an angle of 900, a distance of 40.74 feet to
the actual point of beginning of a line to be described; thence deflect to the
right on a tangential curve with a radius of 572.96 feet, delta angle 270, a
distance of 270 feet, and there terminating.
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved,
and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign
the original and copy of said plat and to do all things necessary and proper in
the premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Stockman and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Johnson, Mitchell and Stockman, and the following was
absent: Thorsen, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon
said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor Pro
Tem and her signature attested by the Deputy City Clerk.
