84-028 - 03-22 - Acceptance of Plat PUD #42 North Lilac Drive AdditionResolution 84-28 starch 22, 1984 Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF PLAT - PUD #42 - NORTH LILAC DRIVE ADDITION WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on proposed Planned Unit Development Number 42 and a plat made a part thereof to be known as North Lilac Drive Addition, PUD #42, covering the following described tracts of land: Parcel 1: That part of the south one half of the northwest quarter of Section 19, Township 29 North, Range 24 west of the 4th principal meridian described as follows: Commencing at a point on the west line of said northwest quarter of Section 19, distant 544.5 feet north of the southwest corner thereof; thence east parallel with the south line of said northwest quarter a distance of 628.5 feet; thence north parallel with the west line of said northwest quarter a distance of 56.91 feet; thence northeasterly on a tangential curve to the right with a radius of 138.23 feet, a distance of 144.07 feet; thence northeasterly in a straight line, tangent to last described curve, 8.78 feet, thence northeasterly and northerly on a tangential curve to the left with a radius of 88.23 feet, a distance of 91.96 feet; thence northerly on a tangential curve to the left with a radius of 66.32 feet, a distance of 43 feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract of land to be described; thence continuing northerly and northwesterly on last described curve 60.21 feet; thence westerly on a straight line, tangent to the last described curve, 180 feet; thence southwesterly, on a tangential curve to the left with a radius of 167.4 feet, a distance of 109.08 feet; thence southwesterly on a straight line, tangent to last described curve 45.75 feet; thence southwesterly and westerly on a tangential curve to the right with a radius of 237.28 feet, a distance of 151.16 feet; thence westerly in a straight line, tangent to last described curve, 10 feet to the easterly right-of-way line of State Highway No. 100; thence northerly along said highway line to its intersection with the southerly right-of-way line of the Electric Short Line Railway Company; thence easterly along said railway right-of-way line to its intersection with a line drawn parallel with and 898.5 feet east of the west line of said northwest quarter; thence south along said parallel line so drawn 175 feet; thence west in a straight line to the actual point of beginning. Parcel 2: That part of the south one half of the northwest quarter of Section 19, Township 29 North, Range 24, west of the 4th principal meridian, described as follows: Commencing at a point in the south line of the northwest quarter of said Section 19, distant 678.5 feet east of the southwest corner thereof; thence north parallel with the west line of said northwest quarter a distance of 602.5 feet; thence at a right angle east 200 feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract of land to be described; thence west along the last described course a distance of 220 feet; thence at a right angle south a distance of 58 feet; thence west parallel with the south line of said northwest quarter a distance of 50 feet; thence north parallel with the west line of said northwest quarter, a distance of 56.91 feet; thence northeasterly on a tangential curve to the right with a radius of 138.23 feet, a distance of 44.07 feet; thence northeasterly in a straight line, tangent to last described curve, 8.78 feet; thence northeasterly on a tangential curve to the left with a radius of 88.23 feet, a distance of 91.96 feet; thence northerly and northwesterly along a tangential curve to the left with a radius of 66.32 feet, a distance of 43 feet; thence east in a straight line to a point on a line drawn parallel with and distant 898.5 feet east of the west line of said northwest quarter, said point Resolution 84-28 - Continued March 22, 1984 being 175 feet south (as measured along said parallel line) from its intersection with the southerly right-of-way line of the Electric Short Line Railroad Company as described in Book 622 of Deeds, page 428; thence south along last described parallel line a distance of 238 feet, more or less, to the actual point of beginning, except that portion of the above premises deeded to the City of Golden Valley for road purposes by Document No. 2913136. Parcel 3: That part of the south one half of the northwest quarter of Section 19, Township 29 North, Range 24, West of the 4th principal meridian, described as follows: Commencing at a point of intersection of the southerly right-of-way line of the Electric Short Line Railway Company and a line drawn parallel with and 898.5 feet east of the west line of the northwest quarter of Section 19; thence north parallel with the west line of said northwest quarter a distance of 61.13 feet more or less to a point 50 feet south of the centerline of the main track; thence westerly 376.5 feet along a line parallel with said main track and the westerly extension of the tangent segment thereof; thence deflecting to the right 8 degrees 35 minutes a distance of 112 feet; thence deflecting to the left 92 degrees 35 minutes a distance of 49.47 feet more or less to the southerly right-of-way line of said railroad; thence southeasterly and easterly along said southerly right-of-way line to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original and copy of said plat and to do all other things necessary and proper in the premises.
