Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR TAX -FORFEITED PROPERTY SALE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley has received from
the County of Hennepin a list of lands in said municipality which became the
property of the State of Minnesota for non-payment of Real Estate Taxes, which
said list has been dated March 9, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the parcel of land described in said list has heretofore been
classified by the Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin County, Minnesota as
non -conservation land and the sale thereof has heretofore been authorized by
said Board of County Commissioners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council, acting pursuant to
Minnesota Statute 282, that the said classification by said Board of County
Commissioners of the parcel of land described in said list as non -conservation
land, be and the same is hereby approved, and that the sale of the parcel of
land be and the same is hereby approved, as follows:

The north 100 feet of the south 200 feet of that part of the Northwest 1/4
of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 23 Township 113 Range 21 described as
follows: Commencing at a point in the south line of said northwest 1/4 of
the southwest 1/4 a distance of 287 9/10 feet east from the southwest corner
thereof; thence east 71 6/10 feet; thence at an angle to the left of 90
degrees 20 minutes to the southwesterly line of Medicine Lake Road; thence
northwesterly along said road line a distance of 103 3/10 feet; thence
south to beginning.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Stockman and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson, and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.
