84-036 - 04-18 - Supporting Approval Crystal, Golden Valley, New Hope Federal Aid Urban Project Street Reconstruction 1986 thru 1988Resolution 84-36 April 18, 1984 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE APPROVAL OF THE CRYSTAL, GOLDEN VALLEY, NEW HOPE FEDERAL AID URBAN (F.A.U.) PROJECT SUBMITTED FOR A STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT FOR 1986 THROUGH 1988 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley is the official government body of the City of Golden Valley; and WHEREAS, the City Council encourages and participates with improvements to obtain adequate transportation facilities in the metropolitan area; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley in regular meeting assembled, that the Transportation Advisory Board, the Metropolitan Council, and other boards and commissions associated therewith are hereby advised that the City of Golden Valley concurs with the cities of New Hope and Crystal and supports the F.A.U. project application for the following project with the three cities for time period 1986 through 1988: County Road 70 (Medicine Lake Road) reconstruction with curb and gutter from west of Douglas Drive to CSAH 18. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to forward certified copy to the City of New Hope who will forward it to James M. Wold, Chief, Planning and Programming Division, Hennepin County Department of Transportation, 320 Washington Avenue South, Hopkins, Minnesota 55343; and to Emil Brandt, Transportation Coordinator, Transportation Advisory Board, 300 Pietro Square Building, St. Paul, Minnesota, 55101.
