84-069 - 06-19 - Designating Laurel Avenue Right-of-WayResolution 84-69 June 19, 1984 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION DESIGNATING LAUREL AVENUE RIGHT-OF-WAY WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley is the fee owner of all the property described below; and WHEREAS, the City is desirous of constructing a public street over a portion of said property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, that it hereby designates the following described parcel for street, road and utility purposes: The Southerly forty (40) feet of Outlot 2, Ring's Colonial Addition. Said dedicated right-of-way to be known as and become a part of Laurel Avenue as presently located within the City of Golden Valley. Mary E.nderson, Mayor ATTEST: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson, and the following was absent: Bakken, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy City Clerk.
