Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF PLAT - MERCHANT'S INDUSTRIAL PARK 2ND ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due
notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be
known as Merchant's Industrial Park 2nd Addition, covering the following described
tracts of land:
Lot 10, Block 1, Merchant's Industrial Park, according to the recorded plat
thereof, and situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota; and
That part of Government Lot 3, Section 4, Township 117 North, Range 21 West,
Hennepin County, Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at a point on the
North line of old Wayzata Boulevard distant 362 feet East of the West line of
said Government Lot 3; thence North on a line running parallel with the West
line of said Government Lot 3 to a point thereon distant 633 feet South measured
along said parallel line, from its intersection with the North line of said
Government Lot 3; thence East on a line running parallel with the North line of
said Government Lot 3 a distance of 451.68 feet to the actual point of beginning
of the tract of land to be described; thence west on the last mentioned parallel
line a distance of 451.68 feet; thence North on a line running parallel with the
west line of said Government Lot 3 a distance of 130 feet; thence East on a line
running parallel to the North line of said Government Lot 3 a distance of 292.51
feet; thence in a general Southerly direction along a circular curve, concave to
the East, having a radius of 371.93 feet a distance of 204.13 feet, more or less,
to the actual point of beginning, according to the United States Government
Survey thereof and situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota; and
The North 20 feet of the West 320.22 feet of that part of Government Lot 3,
Section 4, Township 117 North, Range 21 West of the 5th Principal Meridian,
Hennepin County, Minnesota described as follows: Beginning at a point in the
North line of old Wayzata Boulevard 362 feet East of the west line of said
Government Lot 3; thence North on a line parallel with the West line of said
Government Lot 3 a distance of 312.6 feet to the actual point of beginning of
the tract of land to be described, said actual point of beginning being a point
in a line drawn parallel with the North line of old Wayzata Boulevard from a
point in a line running parallel with and 30 feet West measured at right angles
to the Northwesterly right-of-way line of the Minneapolis, Northfield & Southern
Railway, which last mentioned point is 346.3 feet Northeasterly measured along
said last mentioned parallel line from its intersection with the North line of
old Wayzata Boulevard; thence East on a line running parallel with the North
line of old Wayzata Boulevard a distance of 672.98 feet; thence North on a line
running parallel with the West line of said Government Lot 3 to its intersection
with a line running parallel with the North line of said Government Lot 3 and
distant 633 feet South, measured on a line running parallel with the West line
of said Government Lot 3, from the North line of said Government Lot 3; thence
West on a line running parallel with the North line of said Government Lot 3 to
its intersection with a line drawn from the actual point of beginning running
parallel with the West line of said Government Lot 3; thence South on a line
running parallel with the West line of said Government Lot 3, a distance of
320.78 feet to the actual point of beginning, according to the United States
Government Survey thereof and situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota; and

distant 633 feet South, measured on a line running parallel with the West line
of said Government Lot 3, from the North line of said Government Lot 3; thence
West on a line running parallel with the North line of said Government Lot 3 to
its intersection with a line drawn from the actual point of beginning running
parallel with the West line of said Government Lot 3; thence South on a line
running parallel with the West line of said Government Lot 3, a distance of
320.78 feet to the actual point of beginning; and except the easterly 312.42
feet thereof; and except the North 20 feet of the West 320.22 feet thereof.
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved,
and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to
sign the original and copy of said plat and to do all other things necessary and
proper in the premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson, and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.
