Member Thompson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING
ON CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of

should best be made as proposed and not in connection with some other improvements,
and has given hi's estimated cost of the improvements as follows: $463.20.
3. The Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of
notice included in Paragraph 4 hereof for the purpose of holding a public hearing
on the proposed I,public improvements as described therein.
4. The Clel,rk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place
and purpose of said meeting to be published for two successive weeks in the
NEW HOPE -GOLDEN !VALLEY POST, the official newspaper of the City, the first of
said publications to be in the issue of said paper dated February 7, 1985 and
the last of said'i publications to be in the issue dated February 14, 1985. Such
notice shall be ',substantially the same as in the attached form.

The motion for tlhe adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Stockman and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Golden Valley,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, will meet on Tuesday, February 19, 1985 at 7:30 PM
at the Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road, in said City for the purpose of
holding a public'' hearing on certain proposed public improvements.
The City Enginee,r's estimated cost, the type of improvement, area where said
improvement will) be constructed and which it will serve is as follows:

Residential Street Lighting 151

Improvement; Area:
Lots 12 thrlu 22, inclusive, Block 1
Lots 1 thrid 11, inclusive, Block 2
Lots 2, 3 nd 4, Block 4
All in Ber;strom's Valley Heights 2nd Addition; and also
Lots 20, 211, 22 & 23, Block 1
Lots 10, 11 & 12, Block 2
All in Golden Oaks Fourth Addition.
In conducting said public hearing for making its decision on the proposed
improvement, the City Council proposes to proceed under the authority granted by
Chapter 429, Minnesota Laws of 1969 as amended.
All property within the City which is benefited by the improvement is proposed
to be assessed for such improvement as set forth in the above description,
including all prloperty within the described areas and/or abutting on streets or
lines describedl,above and including all railroad property and railroad rights-
of-way and publilc property located in or abutting on the above described streets,
lines and areas;
All owners of such property in the areas and abutting upon the street or lines
described above are hereby notified to be present at said public hearing and to
make known their• objections to such proposed public improvements, if any there be.
