Member Thompson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION VACATING WATER MAIN EASEMENTS
EXPRESSWAY INTERNATIONAL PARK
WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in a
notice duly published with respect to the subject matter hereof and has heard
all interested persons, and it appearing in the interest of the public that
certain perpetual easements for water main purposes (located in and near
Expressway International Park in the City of Golden Valley) be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, that said easements lying within the corporate limits of said City as
described below, as the same are now laid out and dedicated within the said
limits of the said City, be and the same now are hereby vacated:
A fifteen (15) foot perpetual easement for water main purposes over, under and
across the following described property:
Lot 1, Block 1, Expressway International Park
The centerline of said easement is described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 1, Expressway International
Park; thence, west along the south line thereof a distance of 280.94 feet to the
actual point of beginning of the centerline to be described; thence Northwesterly,
deflecting to the right 450 00' 00" a distance of 24.0 feet; thence westerly,
deflecting to the left 45 degrees, 00 minutes, 00 seconds to the intersection
with the easterly right-of-way of Frontage Road, and there terminating.
An easement for water main purposes:
Approximately one hundred twenty five (125) feet south of the north line of the
southwest quarter (SW1/4) of Section 33, Township 118 North, Range 21 West.
A perpetual easement for water main and water facility purposes in, on, over and
across that part of the Northwest Quarter (1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (1/4),
Section 33, Township 118, Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying North of
State Highway No. 55 and West of Minneapolis, Northfield and Southern Railway
described as follows: 7.5 feet lying adjacent to State Highway No. 55.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Stockman and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.
