85-027 - 03-19 Restrict Parking North Frontage Road TH 55 and West Frontage Road TH 100Resolution 85-27 March 19, 1985 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION RESTRICTING PARKING ON NORTH FRONTAGE ROAD OF U.S. TRUNK HIGHWAY NUMBER 55 AND WEST FRONTAGE ROAD OF TRUNK HIGHWAY 100 WHEREAS, the City Council has the power and authority, pursuant to Section 700:169.33, of the City Code, to designate no parking zones and areas, and it appears that no parking zones should be created on certain portions of the frontage road lying north of U.S. Trunk Highway Number 55 and west of Trunk Highway 100. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Golden Valley that no parking shall be permitted at any time on either side of the highway frontage road lying north of U.S. Trunk Highway Number 55 from a point 1070 feet west of Zane Avenue on the west to the west frontage road of Trunk Highway 100 on the east; and on the frontage road lying west of Trunk Highway 100, north from the North Frontage Road of U.S. Trunk Highway Number 55 on the south to Lindsay Street on the north.
