85-031 - 04-02 Accept Plat Laurel PondResolution 85-31 April 2, 1985 Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF PLAT - LAUREL POND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as Laurel Pond, covering the following described tracts of land: That part of the following described tract lying southerly of a line parallel with and distant 386.61 feet north of the south line of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 5, Township 117, Range 21: That part of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 5, Township 117, Range 21, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the east line of said Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4, distant 778.58 feet south of the northeast corner thereof; Thence west parallel with the north line of said Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 to its intersection with a line drawn parallel with and distant 542.39 feet east of the west line of said Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 as measured along a line parallel with the north line of said Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4; Thence south parallel with the west line of said Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 to the south line of said Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4; Thence east along the said south line thereof to the east line of said Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4; Thence north along said east line thereof to the point of beginning. And, Outlot Two, Ring's Colonial Addition. And, Outlot A, Ring's Colonial Second Addition. And, Outlot A, Ring's Colonial Third Addition. WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original and copy of said plat and to do all other things necessary and proper in the premises.
