Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF PLAT - SOUTHWIRTH
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due
notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be
known as Southwirth Addition, covering the following described tracts of land:
Lots 212, 213, 214, 215, 216, 217, 218, 219, 220:
Including the adjoining West Half of the vacated alley lying between the Easterly
extensions across it of the North line of Lot 220 and the South line of Lot 212;
Lot 221;
Lots 281 to 289 inclusive;
Including the adjoining East Half of the vacated alley lying between the Westerly
extensions across it of the North line of Lot 281 and the South Line of Lot 289,
and
Including the West Half of vacated Sunnyridge Lane (formerly Archibald Avenue)
lying between the Easterly extension across it of the North line of Lot 281 and
the South line of Lot 289;
Lots 320 to 327 inclusive and that part of Lot 328 lying South of the North 1
foot thereof;
Including that part of the East Half of vacated Sunnyridge Lane (formerly
Archibald Avenue) lying between the Westerly extensions across it of the North
line of that part of Lot 328 lying South of the North one foot thereof and the
South line of Lot 320, and
Including that part of the West Half of the adjoining vacated alley lying
between the Easterly extensions across it of the North line of that part of Lot
328 lying South of the North one foot thereof and the South line of Lot 320;
Lots 395 to 403 inclusive;
Including the East Half of the vacated alley lying between the Westerly extensions
across it of the North line of Lot 395 and the South line of Lot 403.
Including that part of vacated France Avenue dedicated in the plat of "Glenwood"
lying between the Easterly extensions across it of the North line of Lot 395 and
the South line of Lot 403, all in "Glenwood", according to the recorded plat
thereof.
Including that part of the West Half of the adjoining vacated alley lying between
the Easterly extensions across it of the North line of Lot 221 and the North line
of Lot 220, all in "Glenwood", according to the recorded plat thereof.
Lot 222, Glenwood, according to the plat thereof on file or of record in the
office of the Register of Deeds in and for said County.
Including that part of the West Half of the adjoining vacated alley lying between
the Easterly extensions across it of the North line of Lot 222 and the North
line of Lot 221, all in Glenwood, according to the plat thereof on file or of
record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for said County.
together with:
Lots 279 and 280, including that part of the East Half of the adjoining vacated
alley lying between the westerly extensions across it of the north line of Lot
279 and the south line of Lot 280 and that part of the West Half of vacated
Sunnyridge Lane (formerly Archibald Avenue) lying between the easterly extensions
across it of the north line of Lot 279 and the south line of Lot 280, all in
Glenwood, according to the recorded plat thereof.

WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved,
and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to
sign the original and copy of said plat and to do all other things necessary and
proper in the premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.
