85-114 - 11-19 Designate Street, Road, Utility and Drainage EasementsResolution 85-114 November 19, 1985 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREET, ROAD, UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley is the fee owner of all the property described below; and WHEREAS, the City is desirous of constructing a storm sewer and street over a portion of said property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, that it hereby designates the following described parcels for street, road, utility and drainage purposes in, on, over and across the following described tracts: Tract A: The Southerly 70.0 feet of Outlot 1, Trach's 2nd Addition together with all that part of the easterly 113.81 feet of said Outlot 1, lying Northerly of the Southerly 70.0 feet thereof. Tract B: That part of the East 342.2 feet of the West 684.4 feet of Government Lot 2 lying South and West of Glenway Slopes, 4th Addition, Section 4, Township 117, Range 21. Tract C: Lot 2, Block 1, Glenway Slopes 4th Addition. Said Easements for street, road and utility purposes are described as follows: The Southerly 40.0 feet of the above described Tract A; All that part of the above described Tract B lying Southerly of a line that is 40.0 feet Northerly of and parallel with the Southerly line of said Tract B; The Southerly 10.0 feet of the above described Tract C. Said Easements for drainage and utility purposes are described as follows: The Northerly 30.0 feet of the Southerly 70.0 feet of all that part of the above described Tract A lying Westerly of the Easterly 113.81 feet thereof, together with the Northerly 45.0 feet of the Southerly 85.0 feet of the Easterly 113.81 feet of said Tract A. The Northerly 45.0 feet of the Southerly 85.0 feet of the above described Tract B. All that part of the above described Tract C lying Southeasterly of the following described line: Commencing at a point in the East line of said Tract C, a distance of 145.16 feet Northerly of the Southeast corner thereof, as measured along said East line; thence Southwesterly to a point in the Southwesterly line of said Tract C a distance of 68.0 feet Northwesterly of the Southwest corner thereof, as measured along said Southwesterly line, and said line there terminating. An rson, Mayor uNal y, Deput City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy City Clerk.
