86-075 - 10-14 Negative Declaration on EAW-Golden Hills Redev District Resolution 86-75 October 14, 1986
Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and �oved its adoption:
RESOLUTION OF NEGATIVE DECLARATION ON THE
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET (EAW)
FOR THE COLOP�NADE, HOTEL AND PARKING RAMP
IN THE GOLDEN HILLS REDEVELOPP�ENT DISTRICT
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the EAW for the Colonnade, hotel and parking ramp has
been prepared and all public notices required by law made;
and
2. The City has received certain comr�ents from various State and
Federal agencies, and comment from the public and these comments
have been considered by the City Council ; and
3. That the City Council has reviewed the EAW and finds that the
project will not have a significant negative impact on the
environment, and, therefore, an Environmental Impact Statement
or further environmental studies are not needed.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Thor�pson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, gakken, Stockman and Thompson; and the following was
absent: Johnson, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon
said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the P1ayor and
her signature attested by the Deputy City Clerk.
