86-085 - 11-05 Tax-Forfeited Property Sale Resolution 86-85 November 5, 1986
h9ember Thompson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY SALE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley has received from
the County of Hennepin a list of lands in said municipality which became the
property of the State of Plinnesota for non-payment of Real Estate Taxes, which
said list has been dated October 23, 1986; and
�1HEREAS, the parcels of land described in said list have heretofore been
classified by the Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin County, P�innesota as
non-conservation land and the sale thereof has heretofore been authorized by
said Board of County Commissioners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council , acting pursuant to
P�innesota Statute 282, that the said classification by said Board of County
Commissioners of the parcels of land described in said list as non-conservation
land, be and the same is hereby approved, and that the sale of the parcel of
land be and the same is hereby approved, as follows:

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the h1ayor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.
