RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING LICENSE, IP�1POUfJDING AfdD
BOARDING FEES FOR THE DOG CONTROL ORDINANCE FOR 1987
WHEREAS, the City Council is required by the provisions of Section 615 of
the City Code to annually establish fees respecting the licensing of dogs and
kennels, and the fees for the impounding and boarding of dogs undertaken pursuant
to the authority provided in said Section 615;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley that the following license fees, impounding fees and boarding fees are
hereby established for the period January 1 , 1987 thru December 31, 1987, as
follows:
l. The fee for a dog license required under Section 615:03 is hereby
established at $5 per annum.
2. The impounding fee for a dog impounded pursuant to the provisions of
Section 615:15 and 615:21 shall be the sum of $18 for each such impound.
3. The boarding fee for every dog impounded pursuant to the provisions of
Section 615:15 and 615:21 shall be the sum of $5 per day.
4. The fee for issuing a duplicate dog license to replace any license
originally issued under paragraph no. 1 above shall be the sum of $2 for each
duplicate license tag.
5. The fee for the issuance of a kennel license as required by Section
615:63 shall be the sum of $200 for each such license.

T e motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by P�tember
Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.
