Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF PLAT - THE COLONNADE P.U.D. NO. 53
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due
notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on proposed Planned Unit
Development Number 53 and a plat made a part thereof to be known as The Colonnade
P.U.D. No. 53, covering the following described tract(s) of land:
Those parts of Government Lots 4 and 5 of Section 4, Township 117 North,
Range 21 West, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as follows: Beginning
at the southeast corner of said Government Lot 4; thence north along the
east line of said Government Lot 4, a distance of 150 feet; thence west,
parallel with the south line of said Government Lot 4, a distance of 533.40
feet; thence south, parallel with said east line, 150 feet to the south
line of said Government Lot 4; thence east along said south line 21.21
feet; thence easterly and southeasterly 220.12 feet along a tangential
curve concave to the southwest, having a radius of 409.26 feet and a
central angle of 30 degrees 49 minutes; thence southeasterly, tangent to
said curve, to the east line of said Government Lot 5; thence north along
the last mentioned east line to the point of beginning; the title thereto
being registered as evidenced by Certificate of Title No. 644123;
which lies northeasterly of Line 1 described below:
Line 1. Beginning at the point of intersection of the east line of
said Section 4 with a line run parallel with and distant 50
feet northerly of Line 2 described below; thence run westerly
to a point distant 50 feet northerly (measured at right
angles) of a point on said Line 2, distant 160 feet easterly
of its point of termination; thence run northwesterly to a
point distant 48 feet northeasterly (measured at right angles)
of a point on Line 3 described below, distant 168.13 feet
northwesterly of its point of beginning; thence run north-
westerly parallel with said Line 3 for 200 feet and there
terminating;
Line 2. Beginning at a point on the east line of said Section 4,
distant 76.61 feet south of the east quarter corner thereof;
thence run westerly at an angle of 87 degrees 15 minutes 11
seconds from said east section line (measured from north to
west) for 568.46 feet and there terminating;
Line 3. From a point on Line 2 described above, distant 93.68 feet
easterly of its point of termination, run southeasterly at
an angle of 106 degrees 23 minutes 34 seconds from said Line
2 (measured from west to southeast) for 100.29 feet to the
point of beginning of Line 3 to be described; thence run
northwesterly on the last described course for 100 feet;
thence deflect to the left on a tangential curve having a
radius of 3274.05 feet and a delta angle of 5 degrees 14
minutes 51 seconds for 299.86 feet and there terminating;

That part of Government Lot 4, Section 4, Township 117, Range 21, described
as follows: Commencing at a point 538 feet north of the South line of
Government Lot 4, and 33 feet west of the east line of Government Lot 4;
thence west parallel with the south line of the north 1/2 of said Section 4
a distance of 630.4 feet; thence north 166.12 feet, more or less, to a
point on the north line of the south 24.04 acres of said Government Lot 4,
which point is 663.4 feet west of the east line of said Section 4; thence
east along the said north line of the south 24.04 acres of said Government
Lot 4, 630.4 feet, more or less, to a point 33 feet west of the east line
of said Section 4; thence south 165.21 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning.
Tract B, Registered Land Survey No. 661, files of the Registrar of Titles,
Hennepin County, Minnesota.
The North 150 feet of the South 300 feet of the East 233 feet of Government
Lot Four (4), Section Four (4), Township 117, Range 21, subject to an easement
for road purposes over the Easterly 33 feet.
That part of Section 4, Township 117, Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota
described as follows:
Commencing at a point 300 feet North and 33 feet West of the East 1/4
Corner of said Section 4, Township 117, Range 21; thence West parallel
with the South line of the North 1/2 of said Section 200 feet; thence
South parallel with the East line of said Section 150 feet; thence West
parallel with the South line of the North 1/2 of said Section 300.40
feet; thence North at right angles 100.00 feet; thence West at right
angles 130 feet; thence North at a deflection angle of 89 degrees 45
minutes to the right 288 feet; thence East 630.4 feet to a point 238
feet North of the point of beginning and 33 feet West of the East line
of Section 4, Township 117, Range 21, measured at right angles; thence
South 238.0 feet to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
Valley, that said proposed plat be,
and the proper officers of the City
the original of said plat and to do
premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.
