87-020 - 02-03 Vacate Portion of Harold AvenueResolution 87-20 February 3, 1987 Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR VACATION OF A PORTION OF HAROLD AVENUE WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published with respect to the subject matter hereof and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing in the interest of the public that a cul-de-sac easement abutting and constituting a portion of that certain street known as Harold Avenue as now dedicated and laid out within the City of Golden Valley be vacated; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Golden Valley that said cul-de-sac easement abutting and forming a part of that certain public street lying within the City of Golden Valley as described below, as the same is now laid out and dedicated within the said limits of said City, be and the same now is hereby vacated: That part of Lot 6, Block 4, Windsor Woods, included within the circumference of a circle having a radius of 50 feet; the center of said circle being a point in the North line of said Lot 6 distant 50 feet East, measured along said North line, from the Northwest corner of said Lot 6, according to the plat thereof, filed for record in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Mary E. nderson, Mayor ATTEST: WNal Depu City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy City Clerk.
