87-038 - 03-17 Support Federal Aid Urban ProjectResolution 87-38 March 17, 1987 Member Bakken introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION SUPPORTING APPROVAL OF THE HENNEPIN COUNTY FEDERAL AID URBAN (F.A.U.) PROJECT SUBMITTAL FOR A PROJECT WITHIN THE CITY OF GOLDEN VALLEY FOR 1989 THROUGH 1991 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley is the official governing body of the City of Golden Valley; and WHEREAS, the City Council encourages and participates with improvements to obtain adequate transportation facilities in the metropolitan area; WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Department F.A.U. funding during the time period shown within the City of Golden Valley; and of Transportation application for above includes the following project WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that this project is warranted and desirable for improvement through the Federal Aid Urban Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley in regular meeting assembled that the Transportation Advisory Board, the Metropolitan Council, and other boards and commissions associated therewith are hereby advised that the City of Golden Valley concurs with and supports the Hennepin County F.A.U. project application for the following project within the City of Golden Valley for time period 1989 through 1991: County Project 8036; CSAH 66 (Duluth Street) "Capacity Project" from East of CSAH 102 to TH 100 including grading, surfacing and traffic control signals. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to Dennis L.
